WARNING: This post made without written consent from Deadhoof.
We were able to take down the Curator and the Chess Event on Sunday. Offically, we've progressed... although the Chess Event really is just free loot.
The chess event, while not really dangerous at all, is quite fun. There is an option, after you succeed in the event for the loot... to play another game against yourselves!
It is now unofficial guild policy that whenever the chess event is completed, Group 1 must square off against Group 2 in a battle to the death! Winner gets nothing, loser gets half of that.
For the official scoring: Group 1 (playing Alliance) completely trounced Group 2 (playing Horde).
So:
Group 1: 1 Group 2: 0
Hopefully, Group 2 will bring their 'A' game next week.

Group 2 is Group 2...from the same 2-Group/10-Man raid. Basically after a raid beats the Chess encounter, the raid can go against each other for fun.
That being said, we are working on organizing a second Karazhan raid group...key classes are what we need the most. The last time we did Karazhan with 2 raid groups in the same week, we had 3 people playing alts and 1 non NS member.

Generally, group 1 has the tanks and melee dps. Group 2 has healers and nukers.
